Rizzo's World
Rizzo, a New York journalist with a whiskey problem estranged from his Turkish wife, a popular singer in Turkey & The Middle East, and his college age daughter whom he barely knows, receives an unexpected phone call: his close friend, the photographer Cemal, has been murdered in Istanbul.
Coaxed into helping find those responsible by Cemal's cousin, an enthusiastic and surprisingly resourceful Turkish journalist, and his daughter, they follow a trail back and forth across the Atlantic trying to solve the mystery. In the process, Rizzo resolves his troubled marriage and learns to be a caring, responsible father.
Besides being a mystery, it is a story of family, friendship, loyalty, and redemption.
